Installing Kuryakyn Front Lights without a Light Bar

Trip,

As promised, here is the way that I wired my driving light to come on with the headlight (only after the starter button has been pushed and released) and go off when the bike is turned off:

The driving light are on all the time the headlight is on, dim or high beam.

There is an extra constant 12v positive feed in the headlamp bucket already and a ground also...they will plug right on to the appropriate terminals on any standard automotive relay. To "switch on" the relay so it will supply power to the lights.....I used a t-tap on the blue/yellow stripe wire (energizes after you hit and release the starter button) and made a small jumper with a connecter to slide on the "86" terminal or switch pole on the relay. Wire the positive connection for the lights to the "87" pole with a connector. Tuck all that in the same protective sleeve already in the headlight bucket and it all fits in perfect.

This is a photo of the inside of the headlamp bucket after the lamp has been removed and the connections are described and labeled.

Here are 2 photos of my finished product...I think my lights may be a little closer to the headlamp than yours ended up.
